Fingerprint match is performed in the on-board cryptoprocessor thus setting the highest possible security level. Fingerprint templates are indeed never exposed and always handled in the most secure way to prevent any type of conventional attacks.
Plus, Biometrics smartcard implementation has never been so easy as all the securetransactions are directly handled by the embedded cryptoprocessor.
