DESCRIPTION
BIOTHENTIC is a smart card reader
including a fingerprint sensor and a dedicated processor (cryptoprocessor)
designed by id3 Semiconductors. The user's reference template
is stored in smartcard, the matching is embedded on the smartcard
itself. When the reference template and the one coming from
the sensor match, the smartcard is unlocked garanting secured
transactions. The recognition process is fully encrypted and
processed internally to the BIOTHENTIC
